Project 1- 'Green' Sport's Info-Equipment Shed : Exploring the Environment Poetics

In this project, my groupmates and I are required to design a shed that will be placed at the Taylor's University Lakeside Campus's Sport Facilities. The main purpose of the shed is to provide event infomations while also providing shelter and storage area. From this project, I am able to identify and analyze environmental qualities and contextual needs of a site. Then, I have applied ideas of environmental sustainability in architectural design. Lastly, I am able to employ particular material and construction technique.

Project 2- Engagement and Development Centre

In this project, I am required to design a Community Engagement and Development Centre for the Mah Meri People. The building will be placed at the Mah Meri Cultural Village located in Pulau Carey. Throughout the project, I am able to apply ideas of environmental sustainability in design. Next, I have designed and created architectural spaces with consideraton of environmental poetics in relation to the basic natural context and existing built context which impact on users' experiences. Follow on, I have combined the environmental needs, the site and the users' experiences within simple building design in the open landscape/suburban context. Last but not least, I am able to produce drawings, modelling and verbal presentation to communicate and visualize architectural design and ideas based on clustered spatial typology.
