Project 1- Shape Grammar Inspired by Surrounding Elements

 

For this project, my groupmates and I are required to find an inspirational object from the natural surrounding. The object that we used is pinecone. From there, we manage to extract out a few shape grammar rules. The shape grammar rules are used to design a pavilion. Throughout this project, I have managed to Identify and describe the process to analyse existing designs using shape grammar method.

Project 2- Future House

 

For this project, I am required to produce ny own shape grammar rules for the design of the future house. The rules are divided into two categories which are ornamentation and general shape rule. From this project, I am able to produce new designs using shape grammar method from the my own set of rules.
