Detailed Design

 

Semester 6 forms the culmination of the Bachelor of Science Honours in Architecture Programme. This project is based on the theme of ‘sustaining humanities’ - architecture for people, place and time. One of the key aspect of the design project is to develop holistic and integrated aspects of technology, environment and cultural context in architectural design. The design project also extends students development of architectural position in conjunction with the environmental strategies and technological resolutions with the main intent to strengthen the design exploration/ideas and complement the design through a comprehensive design. The building that I required to design is a UNESCO Centre which will be located at the Portuguese Settlemen, Malacca.
